TABLE BLUFF, CA. – A body found over the weekend has been identified as a missing Fortuna man.
The Humboldt County Coroner has identified the body found Saturday at the mouth of the Eel River as missing man, 35-year-old Quincy Tod Mendes.
He had last been seen on January 21 driving on Highway 36, when he lost control of his vehicle near mile marker 12.
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate.
