FORTUNA, CA. (KIEM) – Fortuna police were surprised by community members, with a thoughtful gesture to say “thank you”.
This week is National Police Week, enacted by President John F. Kennedy in 1962.
It’s a week to honor, and memorialize the men and women behind the badge.
To kick off the week in Fortuna, community members dropped off these goodie bags – filled with snacks, pens, gift cards, and more.
