MARIPOSA COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) – Good news tonight on the recently sparked Eighty Eight Fire in Yolo County.
The fire, on the outskirts of the major County Fire, sparked on Wednesday afternoon, and grew rapidly in size to over 800 acres.
As of Thursday night, however, crews have already made major progress – with 90% containment on the fire.
Evacuation orders have been lifted. Any further emergency information regarding the Eighty Eight Fire would be made available, here.
