Garberville man arrested for assault with a rock

GARBERVILLE, CA. – A Garberville man is arrested for throwing a rock at a person’s head.

48-year-old Ronald Machado was taken into custody Friday morning.

At 8:20AM, sheriff’s deputies responded to a gas station on the 800 block of Redwood Drive, where Machado was already detained by CHP.

He allegedly followed the victim on Redwood Drive, verbally harassing the victim before throwing a rock at their head, causing injury.

Machado was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats and violation of probation.
